Carlos Febre – Bio
Carlos Alberto Febre, a native of Puerto Rico, has been active in the field of cosmetology as an educator, consultant and salon owner for over 25 years. His diverse background in dance and Community Theater, fashion design and platform work has contributed to his success as a hair designer bringing his art of hair dressing to a high level of achievement. He continues to inspire fellow professionals with his dedication to continuing education, sharing his knowledge and enthusiasm. His simplistic method of teaching has made him a popular bilingual instructor in the English and Spanish speaking communities.
Carlos has studied with such professionals as Beth and Carmine Minardi, John Gunther, Ann and Gary Bray, Olive Benson, Thomas Hayden, and David Windsor. His many awards include the Clairol Award for excellence in hair, make up and design, the Rusk Haircutting Award and numerous competition awards such as Bronner Brothers, IBS, NCA and MCA. He also was Captain of the Alpha Omega team for the International Beauty Show as well as serving as a board member for the Massachusetts Cosmetology Association. His willingness to participate in local and national organizations proves his emphasis on improving and contributing to higher standards for the hairdressing industry.
Carlos continues to style TV personalities, celebrities and models, but he is most satisfied working with his diverse salon clientele. He instills in his work a trust that goes beyond the visible giving his clients encouragement and a sense of confidence to look and feel their best. His passion lies in color and design creating a canvas that brings out the inner beauty intertwining his spiritual philosophy with his art. This unique approach to his work has made Carlos a leader in his industry as well as his community.
